Deputy Leader of the People’s DemocraticMovement (PDM), Hon. Sean Astwood, is in “critical but stable” conditionfollowing medical treatment in Nassau, The Bahamas. According to OppositionLeader Hon. Sharlene Cartwright-Robinson, Astwood was airlifted on Saturday,February 28th, in critical condition. While he remains stable, he continues toreceive treatment and undergo tests.
Astwood, aged 41, serves as the Member ofParliament for Five Cays, Providenciales, and has been a prominent figure inthe Turks and Caicos Islands political landscape. Cartwright-Robinson calledfor prayers from the public, emphasizing the importance of support during thischallenging time for the Deputy Leader and his family.
