The free event, held on August 24, featured boat races, livemusic, children’s games, and an array of lobster dishes prepared by talentedlocal chefs. Organized by the Five Cays Cultural Committee, the festival notonly celebrates the community's vibrant culture but also aims to reinvestprofits back into local development.

 

Deputy Premier Sean Astwood praised thefestival as an "amazing" success that showcases the beauty andhospitality of Five Cays while boosting its image and economy. The eventprovides a platform for local chefs to display their culinary skills and keepproceeds from their vendor booths, which further stimulates economic activity.Beyond the food, attendees enjoyed cultural activities like junkanoo, maypoledancing, and model boat racing, creating a safe and festive environment forsocializing and entertainment.
