Deputy Premier and MP for Five Cays, Hon.Sean Astwood, donated 10 tablets to the Enid Capron Primary School (ECPS) inFive Cays, Providenciales, on November 5th, 2020. The donation was presented toPrincipal Sophia Garland and teacher Yvonne Tucker to help students access theonline learning platform during the pandemic.

Astwood emphasized the importance of onlinelearning, noting that it represents one of the key pillars of the TCI’s pushtoward E-Government. He highlighted the government’s ongoing efforts tomodernize technology and promised significant advancements in E-Governance inthe coming year.

Astwood further expressed his commitment tosupporting education and praised the resilience of students adapting to virtuallearning. “Access to education is key to the success of our students,” he said,acknowledging the pandemic’s impact on how education is delivered. Hereaffirmed his readiness to assist students in overcoming these challenges.
